Shredded Chicken Tacos

This recipe could not be any easier and the results are outstanding. We’ve tried so many shredded chicken taco options, and this one by far has the most flavor … thanks to Penzeys!

Prep Time: 2 minutes  |  Cook Time: 5 hours


2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1 lb)
1/2 cup water or chicken broth
4 Tbsp Penzeys Chicken Taco Seasoning
1-2 Tbsp fresh lime juice


Place in a slow cooker. Add the water or broth, chicken taco seasoning and lime juice. Cook on high for 4 hours. Shred the chicken using two forks and cook for another 1 hour. Serve with your favorite taco toppings.
