A spicy spread to be enjoyed as a meze or dip with pita crisps. We made this dip for a friends’ Greek Fest gathering to enjoy the cuisine and here all about their trip to Greece. Opa!
10 ounces feta cheese, crumbled
2 Tbsp olive oil
5 Tbsp Greek yogurt or sour cream
2 cloves garlic
1-1/2 to 2 tsp Tabasco
Beat all the ingredients with a mixer or food processor until combined and fluffy. Adjust heat to personal preference by adding more Tabasco.
Keeps up to 1 week in refrigerator.
We made this for our friends’ Opa Fest! We thinly sliced a baguette, brushed the sides with a blend of olive oil and greek seasoning, then broiled them until lighted toasted.
